At Paz Bakery, we believe food is more than just sustenance - it is the language of love, connection, and comfort. Yet, our hectic lives hinder the joy of shared meals. We want to bridge this gap by simplifying baking because nothing says "home" like the scent of freshly baked goods. Our gluten-free, ready-to-bake products are crafted in small batches, with 7 wholesome ingredients that you know and can pronounce. Frozen to preserve freshness, they have extended shelf life and are easy to finish at home, so you can take some credit when you share, and impress without stress.

TOMI

TOMI formerly known as Plant Baby is Canada's first and only plant-based milk nutritionally designed for toddlers. About 55% of new parents are switching their toddlers to a plant-based milk; however, the current plant-based brands are not design for toddlers; they are ultra-processed, high in sugars, not allergen-friendly and lack of vital nutrients for toddlers' growth, such as protein, probiotics, DHA, fibers, calcium and iron . For this reason I created Plant Baby, to help parents feed their toddlers cleaner and healthier with a plant-based milk alternative that is proudly made in Canada.

DJL Kreative Kitchen Inc.

DJL Kreative Kitchen Inc., champions Caribbean Cuisine with our artisanal jerk sauces, including Mango Jerk Sauce, featured at Toronto's Drake Hotel. Our sauces, infused with Caribbean flavors like Sorrel Barrel-Age Rum and Dragon Stout Beer, have garnered widespread acclaim and TV appearances. Oh My Okra is a healthy crunchy vegetable snack made with wholesome okra pieces and simple ingredients. Made in BC, non-gmo verified project, gluten free, nut free, and very high in fibre. Vacuum dehydrated technology is used to make Oh My Okra which allows them to maintain over 80% of the nutrients in the okra. In addition, okra is great for blood flow making it a guilt free snacking option for healthcare practitioners, individuals living with diabetes and or high blood pressure, or individuals looking for healthier unique options.

Syzl

Syzl is revolutionizing the food industry by democratizing access to commercial kitchen spaces. Syzl transforms underutilized commercial kitchens into revenue-generating assets, solving the industry's space scarcity issue. The online marketplace platform streamlines the logistical, compliance, and risk management aspects of kitchen rentals, making it easier for all food entrepreneurs, including marginalized groups, to operate efficiently and grow.

Scooty

SCOOTY is developing the SCOOTY Micromobility API for transit integration with PRESTO. SCOOTY will digitally integrate our vehicles into public transit systems like GO Transit for example, so transit agencies across Canada can offer multimodal transportation options (trains, buses, e-scooters, e-bikes and other shared micromobility) that will seamlessly connect residents and commuters between their first, middle, and last mile commutes. SCOOTY is working on piloting this technology with PRESTO and GO Transit in Brampton and in Markham as well, and this ties in strategically with the government's recent announcement of the One Fare Program.

Openroom

Openroom helps you make informed rental decisions.In 2023, the number of court filings in the Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) has been increasing by 21% year over year to 73,000 cases amidst the housing crisis. 61% of the filings were for non-payment of rent. Based on Openroom's dataset, there is over $100M of debt owed to the housing providers. While the large property management companies can take advantage of scale, the small housing providers that service 1 in every 2 rental units are left without support. As such, they will continue to pull out of the rental market and there will be less supply to meet the increase in housing demand. At Openroom, we primarily serve small-scale housing providers to ensure they have all of the financial and compliance tools they need to operate a rental business per their local jurisdiction. This way, they have the superpowers to play on the same level as the large property management companies. Openroom has grown to 20K visitors a month to help people make informed rental decisions - all through word-of-mouth and $0 in advertising spend.
