CITY is pleased to welcome two new visiting scholars to the Institute for the summer. Bernd Belina and Susanne Heeg are both visiting from the Department of Human Geography, Goethe-University in Frankfurt, Germany . During their stay at York, they are conducting research with CITY faculty members Ute Lehrer and Roger Keil on the complicated relationships between the core city and more peripheral parts of the global city regions of Frankfurt and Toronto. Bernd Belina is at the City Institute for 2 months from June to July 2012. Susanne Heeg will be here from June 4 to 17, 2012. Please join us in welcoming Bernd and Susanne.
