Rachel McNally

PhD Candidate, Political Science, Carleton University

Research Interests: Rachel is interested in refugee resettlement policy and community refugee sponsorship. She has studied the Blended Visa Office-Referred and Joint Assistance Sponsorship programs in Canada, as well as refugee sponsorship in rural areas. Rachel is working on her dissertation project on disability in Canadian resettlement policy. She is also one of the lead researchers with the IRCC-funded project “From Anecdotes to Evidence: Research-Based Recommendations for Supporting Rural and Remote Sponsorship” hosted at the Prentice Institute at the University of Lethbridge.
