What a successful event! Thanks to each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts. You dressed your best, you came out, and you donated, but beyond that, you played a key role in making the first annual Water for Peace what it was: powerful and inspiring. Thank you for believing in the need for new solutions. Thank you for joining us to look into the future and help to shape it. Thank you for being the Canadians who have decided to stand up and take your rightful place as leaders in the face of the immense challenges facing us today. Thank you for believing in the importance of water.
In the words of our keynote speaker, Lieutenant General the Honourable Roméo Dallaire: The future belongs to those who dare to imagine, create, and explore, and to those who have the courage to bring these processes into practical being.
The first annual Water for Peace was a phenomenal evening, and it is only the beginning. We look forward to staying in touch with you throughout the year and to seeing you at next year's event, where we will share progress reports from our first pilot site in South Sudan - where we will show you the true impact of your support!
Many thanks,
The Rainmaker team
