Whether you’re just starting your website or want to edit the existing site title or tagline on WordPress, this quick and easy how-to tip will get you started.
We have two ways to change your site title and tagline in WordPress, these are;

Option 1: from appearance

Kindly follow the steps listed below

1. Go to your WordPress dashboard
2. Go to Appearance on your left sidebar and click on Customize
3. Go to Site Identity, change or edit your title
4. Click Publish.

You’re all done!

Option 2: from settings

This is similar to first example but with fewer steps to cover.

1. Go to your WordPress dashboard
2. Go to Settings and within the General option, change or edit both your site title and WordPress tagline and click Save.

Congratulations! You have successfully updated your site title and tagline in WordPress!

The first option has a few more steps, but the change is visible instantly from the Preview on the right side of the screen. Option two has fewer steps, but you need to open the site in new tab to see the changes.
