York University’s unique Master of Science in Nursing program was developed in response to changing attitudes towards the practice of nursing. York answers a growing demand for healthcare services and practitioners that focus on the experiences of human beings in a way that respects patients' values and choices about health and quality of life. This recognizes that every patient has a personal story.

Master of Science in Nursing (MScN)

This program answers a growing demand for healthcare services and practitioners that focus on the experiences of human beings in a way that respects patients' values and choices about health and quality of life. This recognizes that every patient has a personal story.

Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioners (PHCNP)

This program will prepare advanced practice nurses with specialized knowledge in health promotion, empowerment, community partnerships, human science nursing, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

PhD in Nursing Program 

This program will prepare nurse scholars who can conduct independent research and assume leadership in settings including academia, research centres, healthcare settings, and government.
