Congress 2023

Congress 2023 will take place at York’s Keele and Glendon Campuses in Toronto from May 27 to June 2. Nearly 8,000 scholars, graduate students, and practitioners in the humanities and social sciences (HSS) will come together and share their research.

The Centre for Indigenous Knowledges and Languages welcomes our Associates and visiting researchers and students to come visit our space on campus. We are also helping to promote a series of Indigenous events organized by York University's Indigenous students and faculty (see our event calendar below). Additionally, in partnership with the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS), we are providing gathering spaces designed to foster connection, sharing and community building. More information on spaces will be provided below.

Please visit the official Congress 2023 website for any additional resources, including blog posts and FAQ.

If you are a student or community member who self-identifies as Black or Indigenous, your fees will be waived. See more information here.
