Security Bulletin, May 23, 2019 - Robbery (Keele Campus)
On Wednesday May 22nd, 2019 at approximately 6 pm, it was reported that a community member was outside the Victor Philip Dahdaleh Building on the north side entrance when he was approached by a female suspect who demanded his wallet. An altercation between the victim and suspect occurred in the area leading to the loading dock for the Center for Film and Theater, where a second suspect was reported to have appeared and joined in. No weapons were reported as seen and injuries were reported to be minor. A white Nissan Altima vehicle was apparently used by the suspects to escape and was last seen going south on Seneca Lane. York Security is assisting Toronto Police in their investigation. York Security has enhanced uniform patrols of the area. Suspects are described as: Female, Mid 30s, 5’ 7”, very thin, wearing a scarf around her head, black jacket, black pants. Male, 24-26 years old 6’ tall, medium build, clean shaven, wearing black pants, black jacket and a baseball hat.
