On Friday, January 31st at approximately 10:30 pm, York Security Services were notified and immediately responded to a robbery and theft of vehicle occurring in the Passy Crescent area.
The victims were robbed by two suspects who produced a firearm. Their vehicle was taken by the suspects who then left the area. No injuries were sustained. Police are actively investigating this occurrence and York Security are assisting police in the investigation. Police have not yet released a description of the suspects. Additional security is being retained and high visibility York Security patrols are in place in the south end of campus, including extra patrols of parking lots.
