Description:
Please be advised that on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at approximately 12:30 a.m., York Security Services and Toronto Police Service responded to a robbery that occurred near Stong Pond, close to Nelson Road.
Three community members were approached by two suspects who made a demand for their cellphones. It is unknown if the suspects were armed with a weapon. The victims left the scene unharmed. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. York Security is assisting police in this active investigation. Security patrols have been enhanced at the south end of campus.
Suspects are described as:
1. Male, early to mid 20s, thin build, 5'10" to 6" tall, wearing a black hoodie, black bulky boots and black facemask
2. Male, early to mid 20s, thin build, 5'9" to 5'10" tall, wearing a light-colored hoodie, and black facemask
