New faculty

As a new faculty member (tenure-track, or contract) it can be overwhelming to learn everything you need in a short period of time. So, we offer recommendations that focus on the essentials for getting started designing and teaching courses at York with proven effectiveness for student learning (Xu, Z., Ge, L., He, W. et al., 2024). The resources are also focused with any time, anywhere support. When you are ready, you can join a community of practice or other teaching development opportunities.
