UIT Bulletin - Microsoft products reaching end of support on October 13, 2020

Please share this information with your teams.  The following Microsoft products will reach end of support on October 13, 2020; at which point Microsoft will no longer provide technical support, bug fixes and security updates.  UIT will also stop supporting the legacy products on the same date. 

 

  1. Office 2010 
  2. Office 2016 for Mac 

 

University computer assets should already have a more recent supported version such as Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (previously named Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus).  If you still have the legacy products mentioned, please reach out to your IT support group to upgrade.
