UIT teams have identified a critical issue with a Microsoft windows update, released January 2022 which causes Windows servers acting as Active Directory domain controllers to restart unexpectedly.
An emergency maintenance will be completed between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. today to apply an out-of-band fix by Microsoft.
This notification is a service advisory, we do not expect any service outages to Active Directory domain services and Active Directory LDAPS service during the emergency maintenance.
