Service Advisory

 

Please share the following with your teams.


Service Maintenance:

File Access Service (FAS)

 

Scheduled Maintenance Window:

Start: Friday June 30, 2023 6:00 p.m.

End: Saturday July 1, 2023 6:00 a.m.

 

Impact/Details:

  • Access to all file shares on FAS will not be available during the maintenance window
  • Teams will be performing service maintenance on the FAS storage service
  • As an example, file shares on FAS are typically presented as H: and X: drives (i.e. on a Windows computer in the office, when you browse 'This PC')
  • Files stored in the M365  service platform will remain accessible (i.e. files stored in your OneDrive and yuoffice.yorku.ca (SharePoint, Teams, etc.) will not be affected by this maintenance)
