How Availability Metrics are Developed

Monthly Availability Metrics for key UIT services are derived based on the type of service, its committed availability profile (hours per day and based on number of days in the month), less the time utilized by its respective planned maintenance window. The committed availability profile is then compared with the actual availability for each service during the month and the final metric reflected accordingly.
