How long will my file storage remain active?

Your Undergraduate student file storage (associated with username@my.yorku.ca) or your Graduate student file storage ( associated with username@yorku.ca) will remain active and accessible to you until mid-October of the year you graduate or for as long as records reflect you as an active student with the Registrar’s Office. All student accounts will eventually expire. The system will send out an automated message about the expiry of your computing accounts so that you will be given ample time to transfer / backup your files. VP Student Communications will also be sending out reminders throughout the year in their weekly emails.

For more information about computing accounts see lifecycle of computing accounts.
