Quality Council Review and Audit Process
As outlined in the York University Quality Assurance Procedures (YUQAP), the university is subject to an audit process once every eight years. The objective of the audit is to determine whether or not the institution has acted in compliance with the procedures outlined in its YUQAP, as ratified by the Ontario Universities Council on Quality Assurance.
York University engaged in its second quality assurance audit in November 2025. In June 2026 the Quality Council provided York University with its Report on the Quality Assurance Audit of York University. No institutional response to the report was required.
