The Violence Prevention series is designed to align with Bill 168 to ensure all employees have a strong foundational knowledge and skill base to support a safe and respectful workplace.

To ensure that the University complies with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005, everyone who interacts on its behalf with the public must be trained in accessible customer service. This training requirement applies to all faculty, staff, student leaders, managers, department heads and senior administrators.

The Wellness @ Work series covers various topics that promote health and well-being, and work life balance.

Presented in collaboration with the Employee Well-Being Office, the wellness series also highlights the benefits of and suggestions on how to use to use the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and resources.

Movies provide an excellent alternate learning medium on a wide range of topics. Learning and Organizational Development continues to host a monthly learning session where a selected movie will be viewed. Each video is followed by a facilitated discussion.
