All about Passport York - Information for Students
What is Passport York?
Passport York is York's primary method of online authentication.
You can use your Passport York username and password to log into
York's online services and tools. Passport York determines which
services you are able to access.
NOTE: You
can only sign up for a Passport York Account once. If
at any time you forget your username or password you can not sign
up for a new account. You will need to follow the instructions
on this page for resetting your password or looking up your username.
What can I access using my Passport York username and password?
I don't have a Passport York account yet. How do I get one?
Go to any of the applications that require the Passport York
login. For example "Manage
My Services" or any of the applications listed above.
Click on the "New Student Sign Up!" link.
The next screen will ask you to login with your Student number
and Date of Birth.
Follow the steps provided
You will be asked to give yourself a Passport York username
and password. Make sure you remember these. You
may want to write them down until you memorize them.
From this point on you will use your new Passport York username
and password.
I forget my Passport York password. How
do I get a new one?
Or visit the helpdesk counter at the Computing Commons,
located in the William Small Centre, with a piece of photo ID.
I forget or want to change my Passport York username. How do I
do that?
Go to the "Reset
your password" application and follow the steps as though
you are changing your password. At the end of the process your
username will be displayed.
To change your username, please send email to
accounts@yorku.ca from your
York email account.
