Enhancing the First Year Experience of Mature Students through a Voluntary First Year Experience Course

Description

Structured as a proactive transitional support for mature students, the First Year Experience program will support the academic and personal success of mature students in the critical first few months of university study, and to contribute to improved retention of this at-risk population at the University. This project proposal is intended to serve as a proof of concept for the successful implementation of a First-Year Experience curriculum that will be scalable across the university to other cohorts and at-risk populations.
