Las Nubes Experiential Education and Field Research Program

Description

This project leverages programs, resources for teaching and research, and relationships associated with York University's Las Nubes Project. The purpose is first to develop a model for field experiences associated with the research, conservation and educational mission of the Las Nubes Project, and second, to extend the use of York's EcoCampus and Semester Abroad program so as to involve Costa Rican stakeholders, experts and instructors and students in the Semester Abroad courses. In this way we are expanding research opportunities for MES and senior undergraduates as well as the important aspect of including Costa Rican students in education and research at Las Nubes.
