Navigating the Keele and Markham Campuses Through New Digitally Engaged Programs in AMPD

Description

Our project will support current and future students at the Keele and Markham campuses through augmenting eLearning options for the recently approved Honours BA Minor in AMPD and the Honours BA (Art and Technology) degree currently being crafted for YUMC (York University Markham Campus). We will also expand eLearning options for non-majors, through the development of electives that will benefit students from other Faculties at all three campuses. This project aligns with Priority 3 of the University Academic Plan, Enhanced Quality in Teaching and Student Learning, and in particular point number 2, “Expand technology enhanced learning including the numbers of courses, modules and programs available online or through blended learning.” (UAP page 15) Through our ongoing commitment to eLearning we hope our courses and new programs will be an incubator for new ideas; new forms of collaboration and new methods for course delivery.
