Ann Kwarteng is a third year student at York University, pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Global Health, with a specialization in health policy, management and systems. She is a global health intern who is working with Professor Godfred Boateng at the Global and Environmental Health Research Laboratory. Ann has been awarded the SSHRC USRA award at York University and will be working on the Retooling Black Anxiety Project. This project focuses on examining anxiety in Black families with children who are in the criminal justice and child welfare systems in Ontario.
