Dahdaleh Institute Director James Orbinski will discuss how human rights, social policy, and clinical practice all effect the health of incoming and existing refugees at Big Thinking. The event is presented by the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences and takes places September 18, 2019, in Ottawa. The talk aims to identify best practices available and fill knowledge gaps, all while exploring the implications of current research and identify emerging challenges to address the growing health needs of refugees in Canada.
