Graduate Student Scholar

Romeo Joe Quintero is a PhD candidate and SSHRC Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar in the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change. He is a research associate at the Centre for Refugee Studies (CRS) and York Centre for Asian Research (YCAR). Romeo holds an MA in Women's and Gender Studies at Carleton University and a BSocSci Hons in International Development and Globalization at the University of Ottawa. His dissertation examines the experiences of those living in resettlement and transitory sites for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the areas of the southern Philippines affected by armed conflicts.
