New resource to support the use of more gender-inclusive French

The Glendon Translation Services team, in collaboration with the Centre for Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion at York University, is releasing a new resource to support the use of more gender-inclusive French. This one-page guide offers 4 simple strategies to encourage the whole community to incorporate new ways of thinking into their daily lives.

We recognize that it is not always easy to incorporate new ways of doing things and that we make mistakes from time to time. However, we encourage everyone to continue to try and learn, in order to create an inclusive and equitable environment. We believe that everyone who walks through our campus doors has a role to play and we want to use language that reflects the diversity of faculty, students and staff.

See the one-page guide below (in French).
