Requesting a Custom Letter or Document Verification

If you are already in your Bachelor of Education years, you need to apply for a letter directly from the Education Department

The free online letter will not work for you if:
  • You are registered in teh concurrent education program (BEd);
  • You are registered with Counselling and Accessibility and take a reduced course load, but with full-time status;
  • You require a letter in French
We can do it for you, free of charge!
  • RESP (Registered Education Savings Plan)
  • CPP (Canadian Pension Plan)
  • Scholarships and bursaries from 3rd parties (not York or Glendon)
  • Loans or assistance from outside of Canada
  • Verifying graduation status/eligibility to graduate
    • You must have applied to graduate and received email confirmation of your eligibility before this letter can be produced. Unless all grades are available, only a potential letter will be issued
  • Identifying transfer credits and/or extraneous credits to your degree for professional associations (e.g. QECO, OCT)
  • Verifying language of instruction of courses
  • Financial information (Tuition, meal plan, confirmation of fees, etc.)
  • Any other academic or financial related information, which can be specified in the comment section of the form

Custom Letters will be charged a fee of $25  payable with credit card or cash only. Please allow 5-10 business days to receive your letter. Completed letters can be sent via mail, email or picked up in person at the counter (York Hall C102).

Note: Letters that require financial information (ex. tuition, meal plan, confirmation of fees, etc.) require a longer processing time. Please allow 10 business days for such requests.
