Each year, the Faculty of Health honours their graduating students with the following prestigious medals:
Gold Medal for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership
Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health who has demonstrated academic excellence and outstanding contributions to undergraduate student life at York University.
Silver Medal for Outstanding Leadership
Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and potential through involvement and initiative in Faculty of Health organizations and activities.
Silver Medal for Academic Merit (no application required)
Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health for outstanding academic achievement. The medal is presented to the student with the highest cumulative grade point average in the graduating class.
Eligibility
- Students convocating in February 2024 and June 2024 or
- Students who convocated in October 2023
Students are nominated by their School or Department. Each School/Department will prepare the nomination file(s) to be reviewed by the Committee on Examinations and Academic Standards.
