York University offers a wide range of awards, bursaries, scholarships and prizes administered through Student Financial Services, Faculties, Schools and Departments. These opportunities recognize academic achievement, leadership and community engagement, while providing financial support to eligible students.

Students are encouraged to explore and apply for available funding. Information about eligibility, application requirements and deadlines, as well as tools to explore scholarships and awards, apply for funding and track applications, is available through the FAAS (Financial Aid, Awards and Scholarships) App.

Faculty of Health Medals

Each year, the Faculty of Health honours graduating students with the following prestigious medals. For more information about the gold and silver medals, including eligibility requirements, visit the Faculty website.

Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health who has demonstrated academic excellence and made outstanding contributions to undergraduate student life at York University.

Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health who demonstrates outstanding leadership skills and potential through involvement and initiative in Faculty of Health organizations and activities.

Awarded to a Faculty of Health graduating student for outstanding academic achievement. The medal is presented to the student with the highest cumulative grade point average in the graduating class.

Scholarships & Funding Opportunities from the Faculty of Health

Awarded to students in the Faculty of Health who meet the eligibility requirements and who demonstrate an interest in the area of maternal-child health.
