Leticia Akparah
Residential Support Worker, Homestead Salvation Army
Sociology, Bachelor of Arts (BA) 2012
My program was how it broadened my understanding about living in society and what makes life a bit easier and difficult depending on one's choices. The course I enjoyed most was Sociological Theories. However, all the courses I did at YorkU helped to prepare me for the job I am doing in the community. It also helped me to achieve my goal of studying social work and working in the field.
