Parking updates for community members returning to campus

Please see the important information below to support you in returning to campus following the labour disruption.

If you returned your sessional parking permit for a refund

If you returned your sessional permit for a refund during the labour disruption, the following parking options are available to you during the remediation period.

  • Daily Parking – Available in a visitor lot of your choice through the HONK Mobile App. or at pay machines located in the area.  Please note that hourly/daily parking in the garages is ONLY available through the HONK App.
  • Permit Parking – Effective Monday April 22, 2024, permits for the month of May will be available online, on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Multi-pack Parking - You can purchase a surface or garage multi-pack through the HONK Mobile App, which provides 10 full parking sessions to be used over a 30-day period.  It is important to note that the 30 days begins from the first date of purchase. We encourage you to only purchase the multi-pack when you are ready to use it to ensure you get the most value of out of your package.

If you retained your sessional parking permit that expires April 30, 2024

If you did not return your sessional parking permit and are required to be on campus during the remediation period, you can continue to use your permit until May 26, 2024. Please ensure you continue to park in the lot that corresponds with your permit, as alternate parking locations are no longer in effect.
