Field Course Category A

Urban Watershed Management and Biodiversity: The 2024 course is offered as a hybrid, with online labs from your home and remote lecture sessions. It will run in York’s S1 term, with the start date being Monday, May 6th. The course will run for five weeks of the term, with 3 hours of lectures and 6 hours of labs per week.

Online lectures: Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30 am till 12 noon.

Online labs from your home: Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 pm till 5:30 pm.

We are aware that some students will have paid employment for which hours may conflict. Therefore, the course director will allow some flexibility for absences when they are notified in advance. But please note: this is not an asynchronous course.

Non-York students may apply to take this course under a Letter of Permission from their home university. Non-York students use the same online application form here to register their interest in enrolling.
