2023 Virtual and In-person New Faculty Orientation
Welcome to York University! We are delighted to have you join our community of teachers and scholars. We invite you to join us in the 2023 New Faculty Orientation event, orientations will run virtually – Online via Zoom and in-person. Teaching Commons sessions will run virtually (online) only.
New faculty are required to attend ONE of the two scheduled sessions on "A Focus on Teaching, Learning and Student Success" in addition to the "Welcome to York Day". Additional information on these sessions is below:
“A Focus on Teaching, Learning and Student Success” (hosted by the Teaching Commons) - Faculty can attend either date (content is the same on both days, repeat sessions)

Wednesday, August 23, 2023 (online only) PROGRAM
"Welcome to York Day" (hosted by Faculty Affairs) is scheduled for Tuesday August 22, 2023 (online and or in-person)
