Founders College, the oldest of York's colleges, is towards the northeast of the campus in college complex I, next to Vanier College.
How to get hereBy public transport:
We are easily reached by public transport: by bus and subway, the trip from downtown Toronto takes about an hour. Frequent buses run onto the campus from the new Downsview subway stop on the Spadina-University line (York University buses 106 and 106E). Steeles West buses 60C and 60F run onto the campus from Finch subway stop on the Yonge line. In addition, the following buses run onto the campus from stops on the Bloor line: from Keele subway stop, Keele bus 41B and from Jane, Jane bus 35E. The Finch West bus 36 also goes to the campus.
From the main bus stop at York Lanes, walk through the arcade and right across the grass to Founders.
The campus can be reached by car from highway 401 (via the Allen Road and Steeles) and highway 400 (via Steeles). There are entrances to the university from Keele, Jane, Steeles, and Finch.
Perhaps the easiest approach by car is from Steeles, down Founders Road (the first entrance west of Keele). Park in the parking lot there and walk south, past the tennis courts, to Founders.
The front entrance of Founders (at the west) has a small ramp and is wheelchair-accessible. There is an elevator close by inside.
A wheelchair-accessible washroom is available on the ground floor of Founders College.
