After more than 40 years of loyal service, Michael Daigle, Manager, Network Operations and a true York ambassador, will disconnect from the York Network one last time.
In this interview, Mike shares some of his memories of the University since joining in 1978. What’s not in this interview is how Mike attended night school while working varying shifts for 13 years to get his BA in Computer Science.
According to Mike, as significant a milestone as this is— retiring after 42 years, it pales in comparison to what he believes are his greatest achievements and what he is most proud of. Mike is a proud father of four—two girls and twin boys: an architect and three engineers. Of course, Mike was quick to state that none of this would be possible without the love and support of his incredible wife. View Mike's interview here.
