Microfluidic Droplet Generation of Imprinted Polymers, Global Health Intern
Intern

Basit Ilyas is a fourth-year student studying Mechanical Engineering at York University. Basit has been researching with Dr. Rezai in the ACUTE lab for over a year. His research was based on lab-on-a-chip electrochemical detection by fabricating and integrating microfluidic channels and electrodes. Using the fundamentals of fluid mechanics in preparation for the device, he combined it with the knowledge of chemistry and biology for its application. Building upon his academic background in fluid mechanics, he aspires to explore further into the exciting realm of microfluidic devices and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that can revolutionize biotechnology and other related industries.
