
Hanna is a fourth-year undergraduate student at York University and a global health intern under the supervision of Dr. Daftary. She has a strong interest in global public health, infectious diseases, and mental health.
In her current role, Hanna manages and updates website content, creates newsletters for SSHIFTB, and supports various communication initiatives. She is also contributing to an ongoing scoping review on tuberculosis (TB) and climate change, exploring their intersection through a One Health framework, and is assisting with an upcoming desk review of TB guidelines.
Beyond her work with SSHIFTB, Hanna is involved in a mental health study at York University, where she helps with participant recruitment, conducts qualitative interviews, and will contribute to thematic analysis.
Hanna plans to pursue graduate studies in 2026.
