
Paul De La Cruz, a Global Health Intern at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research, is an undergraduate student in Communication and Media Studies at York University. His studies examine how media, culture, and community engagement shape everyday life.
At the Dahdaleh Institute, Paul contributes to BioCAM4, a research consortium led by Idil Boran that advances integrated climate and nature action. Working with the media and communications team, he supports storytelling, research translation, and digital content creation for BioCAM4’s outreach initiatives.
He has also contributed to projects within York University’s Communication and Media Studies program, including a geo-documentary on health, plastic pollution, and poverty, and a short film exploring Asian youth identity and digital activism.
