The Globe and Mail have been highlighting the work of many Canadians as part of the Stepping Up series, which aim to introduce Canadians to their country’s new sources of inspiration and leadership. As part of its coverage last week, Syed Imran Ali, Dahdaleh Institute Research Fellow, was featured for his work on the newly launched Safe Water Optimization Tool. The story captures Imran's journey in developing the tool, from his first hand experience in refugee camps in South Sudan to working with the team at the Dahdaleh Institute to form an impactful partnership with Médecins sans frontières (MSF).
