
Fernando is an experienced research coordinator, community health worker, translator, and writer. He has a master's degree in environmental studies from York University and a degree in biology from the University of Buenos Aires, as well as postgraduate studies in environmental health, community health, and epidemiology and a certificate in community work. Prior to joining the Dahdaleh Institute, he worked as the coordinator of the Hispanic Development Council in Toronto. He has also worked as a freelance English-Spanish translator for researchers and research institutions in Canada and Argentina, as the coordinator of an interdisciplinary team in Argentina’s Family and Community Health Program, and as a researcher in the Children’s Environmental Health Unit in Corrientes, Argentina.
