Krishihan is a research assistant working with the Global Food System & Policy Research group at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research at York University. Under the supervision of Prof. Tarra Penney, he is supporting projects on pandemic prevention, antimicrobial resistance, and healthy sustainable diets. He is interested in conducting qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, alongside utilizing system mapping tools.
Prior to joining Dahdaleh Institute, Krishihan completed his MSc in Global Health at McMaster University, focusing on global disease burden and its challenges. His final dissertation was on the effects of intergenerational trauma on family violence among forcibly displaced populations. Prior to his MSc, he received his Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) degree at McMaster University.
