Curriculum Development

Curriculum Development at Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) refers to the initiatives taken by the departmental units that seek to change, improve, or develop some elements of a program’s curriculum.

An initiative/initiatives involves:

  • Create a new course
  • Change to an existing course
  • Create a new program or certificate or close an existing program
  • Change to an existing program or certificate

Submit your Proposal

Proposals must be submitted online. You can submit your proposal in two ways.

The deadline for submitting curriculum proposals effective in Summer 2026 and the 2026-2027 Academic Year has been extended to June 30, 2025


Through CMS

Proposals can be submitted directly through York's online Curriculum Management System (CMS).
