YusApuY Undergraduate Research Award at the GLRC

The Global Labour Research Centre (GLRC) and the York University Staff Association – Association du Personnel de L’Université York (YusApuY) have collaborated for a joint undergraduate research award for students enrolled part-time or full-time (major or minor) in a Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) program at York University.

Valued at $4,500, the award is used to support the research project of one undergraduate student who works independently over the course of several months. The award recipient, otherwise known as the YusApuY Undergraduate Research Fellow, receives mentorship from the GLRC, while engaging in professional development activities with YusApuY, to develop their skills as a researcher.

The recipient for the award period of April-August 2023 is Dara Dillon (Urban Studies). Learn more about Dara and her project here.
