- Provide specific examples and measurable impacts
- Highlight contributions beyond regular job responsibilities
- Include meaningful supporting statements
Yes. Supporting nominators must have some form of current or past affiliation with York. This can include formal employment or other recognized roles within the university.
For example, in research settings, an individual may not be directly employed by York but may work in a York‑based lab and actively collaborate with the nominee. This would still count as an appropriate affiliation.
All nominators will be informed once the selection process has concluded. Award recipients and nominees will be notified following the committee’s review process.
