In light of changes to the province’s phased re-opening plan, I’m writing to share that the University has determined that there will be no change to York’s health and safety protocols, processes, or approach at this time. The University’s Vaccination Mandate remains in place for all community members for the Winter 2022 Term.
York continues its phased return to campus with services and supports available to assist students. We remain confident in the University’s plan as it best meets the needs of our community and prioritizes the health and safety of all York community members.
The below safety measures remain in place:
- YU Screen must be filled out daily, prior to attending campus. Be prepared to show your YU Screen clearance.
- Vaccination is required. York is strongly encouraging all community members to get their third doses and to retain their records for upload to YU Screen.
- Masks are mandatory at York.
- COVID-19 cases are posted daily with support from the University’s case and contact management team.
- Eating spaces have updated guidelines.
- The Libraries’ website shares details about hours and services.
- York has enhanced cleaning protocols in place.
