The Youth Climate Report (YCR) has issued a press release announcing the theme of this year's competition, inviting youth worldwide to create three-minute films on:
- Nature-based solutions for food and human health
- Balancing use of land for people and ecosystems
- Cities and local action to combat climate change
Led by Dahdaleh Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow in Documentary Film & Global Health Mark Terry, the project curates video reports of climate research made by young people around the world. Deadline for video submissions this year is July 28, 2019. Top submissions will be screened at COP25 in Santiago, Chile, November 11 to 22, 2019.
