Earn your York Student Leadership Certificate
Earn your foundational or advanced York Student Leadership Certificate by attending 8 or 12+ Leadership Skills Development workshops at any point during your time as a York student (undergraduate or graduate).
This certificate and the related workshops you will have attended can be added to your Co-Curricular record, and are a great way to supplement your in-class learning. Leadership skills and certificates are valuable when applying to graduate and professional schools, jobs, and other relevant opportunities.
General Student Population
York Student Leadership Certificate
To earn a Foundational Student Leadership Certificate, attend 8 leadership workshops. To earn an Advanced Student Leadership Certificate, attend a minimum of 12 leadership workshops.

Positional Student Leaders
Peer Leader Training Professional Development Certificate
To earn a York Student Leadership Peer Leader Training Professional Development Certificate, you must be a peer leader or student staff employed by York. You must have completed the kickoff Peer Leader Training modules in April, as well as all subsequent Professional Development Series workshops throughout the year.
