Student Film Production Insurance Application

All third/fourth-year undergraduate students and all graduate students working on film projects as part of their course work are required to complete a Student Film Production Insurance Application.

Please note, Risk Management should receive a completed and signed-off application at least one week prior to the start of filming, as requests will take several days to process.

Student Tenant's Insurance

Students living in undergraduate residence will receive the following insurance coverage included in their residence fees:

$10,000 Contents Coverage
$1,000,000 Personal Liability Coverage
$2,500 Additional Living Expenses

Under this program, the university purchases a master policy that provides insurance coverage for all students living in undergraduate residences. Students will receive a Certificate of Insurance in their name outlining the coverages provided by the policy, and will be provided a website address where they can access the policy wording. To facilitate the issuance of the Certificate of Insurance, Housing & Conference Services will share student names and email addresses with Marsh, the insurance broker administering the policy.
