Decanal Search Procedures
When it comes to academic leadership and governance, Deans play a vital role at the University. The search for new Deans is a process that is governed by York's Procedures for Decanal Searchers. A series of steps must be followed in the recruitment process and it involves many members from across the University.

Student Behaviour Guidelines
The Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities requires students to uphold principles of civility, honesty, equity and respect for others. This includes respect for the perspectives of others and a responsibility not to disrupt or interfere with University activities. It also includes a responsibility to behave in a way that does not harm or threaten anyone’s physical or mental well being.

The Teaching Commons
The Teaching Commons offers leadership and resources to support engaged teaching practices that focus on the student learning experience. Resources guide flexible and engaged teaching and virtual drop-in sessions, consultations and workshops support specific teaching needs. Make use of the many tools available to the community to advance the classroom experience.
