Systematics is the study of the variety of living things and of the relationships among these organisms across evolutionary time.

Biogeography studies the present and past distribution patterns of living things and their underlying environmental and historical factors.

The Bee Biogeography and Systematics Talks (BeeBST for short) will bring together bee researchers from across the planet to discuss different groups of bees, how they're adapted, and the factors that have influenced the patterns of distribution that we see today!
